So it has always been a joke between Daniel and I that I never wanted to be a frumpy mom :) We recently got the Wii Fit and I was setting up my little profile to get started and so my little "me" (aka. a little cartoon that represents you) got weighed and all a sudden looked down at her little hips and said uh-oh as they expanded AHHH I WAS LIKE ARE YOU FREAKING SERIOUS... Yes sad but true. Daniel of course just laughed and said that I looked like a curvy bombshell (stupid Wii). So I have decided that I am going to push myself just a little bit harder than I have been (no it wasn't just the little "me" that has made me want that cute pre-baby body back). Ugh I tell you motherhood is the greatest thing ever but the junk in the trunk that comes along with having given birth to three little monkeys is not very flattering. So everyone wish me luck and share any ideas that has worked for you. Oh yeah little side note I love food so I won't do the whole diet thing :) I will eat healthier but I won't give up having a yummy chocolate chip cookie here and there. So any other fun ideas I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to hear.

I checked out "30 day shred" from the library and it is kicking my butt! I started on level 1 yesterday and I can barely walk today. I highly recommend it. I only have it for 1 week from the library so I will be buying it this week for $9 at walmart. Give it a try, you will feel muscles you never knew you had!
Exercising 3-5 times a week (running, cardio exercise, etc. for AT LEAST 30 minutes each time) has helped me, because like you I'm not giving up cookies, cake, ice cream, etc. I either work out after the kids are in bed (which is usually 7:30) or while Matsen's napping (Jazlyn loves to try aerobics with me). Good luck!
Wii Fit sounds fun! Let me know if you like it because I am definitely going to do something after the baby is born. I told Jason I am going to do P90X when we get a house.
I'm in that same boat! And I hate it, yes, hate. I know it's a strong word, but I'm definately missing that ol' skinny body. We should get together and work out. Seriously.
Ok, that so made me laugh because the same thing happened to my me when I set up our Wii Fit. I just got EA Active for the Wii - it's a bit more intense than Wii Fit. I've only done it twice, but I'm liking it so far.
I like to visit exercisetv.com for a new and different workout. I know that I get bored easily when I do the same workout repeatedly so this is a fun website to give you free workout videos and they are really fun to do. I like the dance workout videos. Good luck.
So, I have been doing 30 day shred since I can't go to my step/weight class anymore. I love it. I do level 1 and 2 or pick a level and run 30 min. ( I'm scared to go to level 3) Since Nate is gone I get up before the kids to get it done. I think doing it first thing in the morning is starting to help out. When I get snacky, I am trying to eat a handful of almonds to tie me over.a
You should just disregard what the Wii says. It always tells Dannis that he is overweight and he gets sad.
Weee! Ok that was me that left that comment earlier. Apparently I was signed in to my high school reunion blog. I'm so lame!
Wow thanks guys :) Love the support and ideas! -k- Heidi I totally miss you (you make me laugh). Thanks again everyone!!!
