Yay for being blessed to live in America! So happy late 4Th of July to y'all. Here is kind of the break down for us. We played , we ate some good grub and then G-ma took the hooligans for us and we watch some fun fireworks see above for Daniel's picture of excitement (he can barely contain himself). So yeah it was fun whoohoo ;)

YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE

So I am sitting here enjoying the cool breeze and the sweet silence that comes at the end of the day, after the boys have been bathed, fed, entertained, hugged, kissed and tucked off to beddy bye ;) Ah it is so nice to just sit and reflect without any interruptions. So I love summer!!! I love the sunshine, picnics, boating, BBQ's, camping, going to the park, all the different fairs and events you can attend and I really love the longer evenings but most of all I love playing with my little family. My boys like to sing and one of our favorite songs is "You are my sunshine" so today while were at the park we began to sing... suddenly Tanner interrupted and said "Momma you know why you are my sunshine?" I paused somewhat puzzled by his question and then asked "No why Tanner?" He looked at me and grinned " Because the love I have for you makes me feel warm like sunshine!". So as I sit here I can't help but feel so very blessed my husband and children truly are my little bursts of sunshine. Each and everyday I get to wake up to endless hugs and kisses, I get to play hide and go seek, I get to watch my children experience the small things in life that make it worth living! I have a husband who's arms I can fall into at the end of a hard day. I have a marriage that has ups and downs and twists and turns but it's real and it's ours and we fight for what we feel for each other everyday and I honestly wouldn't ever have it any other way. My life is truly beautiful and filled with lots of sunshine! So there is my little glitch ENJOY!

Tanner Turns SIX!!!

It is hard to believe that on June 20th 6 years ago I was anxiously welcoming my sweet little man into this world! I seriously do not know where all the time has gone. Tanner and I stayed up late Saturday night so we could go through his baby book together (he loves to hear stories about when he was a baby). As we were sitting there my heart literally hurt just a little to see how quickly he has grown in what seems such a short amount of time. I LOVE THAT HE WILL STILL CRAWL UP INTO MY ARMS EVEN IF HIS LEGS DANGLE OFF TO THE SIDE OF THE RECLINER TO HOLD HIM IS STILL ONE OF THE SWEETEST THINGS IN MY LIFE. Tanner has a very special spirit. He has so much love for others and is always trying to do what is right. He is a phenomenal older brother who really adores his little brothers and is so good at taking time to play with them and to teach them. Tanner truly inspires me to be a better person. When Daniel and I welcomed our first child into this world we could have never understood what an amazing, life altering, magnificent and beautiful journey we were about to embark upon. Tanner never ceases to amaze us with his unwavering desire to love and serve others. He teaches me more than I could ever say I have taught him and for this I am truly grateful. HAPPY B-DAY T-TUMS!!!

I scored some sweet swag :) LOL

So I totally love love love yard sales :) We went this morning and hit one up that was beyond awesome and above shows the great deals that we got all for $28 dollars. Now what cracks me up is while we were checking out tanner turned to me and said "Mom you scored some sweet swag" It made Daniel and I laugh. But I guess that is a good way to put it.

Girls Night Out

So I got to go out yesterday for a Girls Night out to The Melting pot downtown. Yeah needless to say I love Fondue! It was really nice though to just get away and have fun with friends and visit (not to mention eat some yummy food). See in my mind if you dip a strawberry in chocolate it is still healthy for you :) LOL I know I have issues but isn't that why y'all love me?

Frumpy Mom Phase???

So it has always been a joke between Daniel and I that I never wanted to be a frumpy mom :) We recently got the Wii Fit and I was setting up my little profile to get started and so my little "me" (aka. a little cartoon that represents you) got weighed and all a sudden looked down at her little hips and said uh-oh as they expanded AHHH I WAS LIKE ARE YOU FREAKING SERIOUS... Yes sad but true. Daniel of course just laughed and said that I looked like a curvy bombshell (stupid Wii). So I have decided that I am going to push myself just a little bit harder than I have been (no it wasn't just the little "me" that has made me want that cute pre-baby body back). Ugh I tell you motherhood is the greatest thing ever but the junk in the trunk that comes along with having given birth to three little monkeys is not very flattering. So everyone wish me luck and share any ideas that has worked for you. Oh yeah little side note I love food so I won't do the whole diet thing :) I will eat healthier but I won't give up having a yummy chocolate chip cookie here and there. So any other fun ideas I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to hear.
