So my sweet little man did not appreciate being surrounded and sung to and what cracked me up even more was the fact that we gave him his own little personal cake (thinking he would dig right in just like he does at every other meal) but oh no he decided it was no good for the birthday boy to be a chocolatey mess. Go figure :)
We are grateful for the family and friends who came to join us for this wonderful celebration.
Not to mention the fact that the kid made away with some pretty sweet new toys... And awesome wrapping paper and boxes :) I love how kids think that is just as wonderful as the gift inside!
So in honor of my littiest dudes first birthday I have compiled the top ten things about Brycie Boy's first year that we love the most...
10. Although hands down he was my hardest and longest labor he has been my most content and mello child!
9. He has wasted no time catching up with those older brothers of his. Where they go he goes and what they do by golly he is going to try :) YIKES I KNOW!
8. Every morning he wakes up with smiles and loves - now who wouldn't love that?
7. He is a very determined child and if at first does not suceed you better believe he will try try again!
6. He loves to squak and dance to music and cracks us all up while doing it!
5. When you attempt yes, attempt to tell the boy child no he just pulls the saddest little face you ever did see...
(to bad I know is is nothing but a big faker).
4. He gives us all BIG SLOPPY SMOOCHES!!!
3. He adores his brothers and they can get him rolling in laughter at the drop of a hat!
2. We had so many trials during his pregnancy and were so worried about his health and well being but he came out just perfect and continues to learn and grow and amaze us everyday.
1. His name is very special and it suits him very well. Daniel forever wanted the name Bryce because he had an Uncle who passed away who he grew up hearing about. He would always hear such wonderful fun adventures and decided he loved the name. Bryce's middle name Gregory was my fathers name and anyone who knows me knows how much I absolutely love and adore my father and knows that he was a great man who accomplish spectacular things in his life and therefore I wished to carry on his memory. So the name suits my son because he is an adventerous, kind and contemplative child who has brought our family so much joy and love!
